Position Summary
This individual is responsible for numerous tasks related to the department's curriculum. This includes assisting with curriculum planning, providing staff support to directors of undergraduate programs and the School Nutrition Director Certification Program. In addition, this individual will assist in handling departmental front office management duties.

Familiarity with Banner, 25Live, Syllabus, Argos and student learning outcomes is preferred but not required.

Duties/Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities
Manage Curricular Planning, including:
-Coordinate, forecast, and plan with Department Head on course offerings and schedules based off student enrollment to meet needs of department programs.

- Maintain and update UGA bulletin as needed.
Percentage of time 25 Duties/Responsibilities
School Nutrition Director Certification Program Support, including:

o Review Guidance documents and Support Data Reporting and Compliance, including:
- Manage data reporting and compliance for College of Education ( COE ) each semester; Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) quarterly; and Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) yearly.

- Implement and communicate changes to meet program compliance from COE , GaDOE, and GaPSC.
- Compile program data.
- Monitor progress and submit recommendations for certification of program completers to COE .

o Provide Accreditation Support, including:

- Collaborate with COE on GaPSC accreditation review.
- Provide programmatic information for compliance.

- Gather and retain student artifacts for submission.

- Compile data on required proficiencies.
- Meet with COE Director of P-12 Educator Preparation.

o Provide General Program Support, including:

- Attend COE Educator Preparation Program ( EPP ) meetings

- Facilitate contract renewal with GaDOE

- Submit requisitions for supplies and materials.
Percentage of time 25 Duties/Responsibilities
Departmental Staff Support, including:
o Assist Curriculum Committee and academic program directors in curriculum related issues.
o Provide Didactic Program in Dietetics ( DPD ) Support
o Serve as Undergraduate Coordinator's Assistant
o Provide Student Learning Outcomes Support
o Serve as Section Officer in Banner
o Student Information Systems Data Management
o Manage Departmental End of Course Instructor Evaluation Process
o Serve as Department Room Scheduler

Responsible for Syllabus Management, including:
- Maintain and load course syllabi into University's syllabus system to ensure compliance.

- Retain syllabi for DPD /DI programs..
Percentage of time 25 Duties/Responsibilities
Office Administrative Support for the Nutritional Sciences Department:
- Greet and assist guests; answer phones; receive and distribute mail; order office supplies as needed; compile reports/documents as needed.

- Other duties as assigned.
